Building / Code Enforcement

The New Jersey Uniform Construction Code and the Borough’s planning, zoning, and property maintenance codes and ordinances are administered by full-time and part-time officials who are licensed and/or certified by the State of New Jersey’s Department of Community Affairs.

Applications for building permits including Zoning applications are accepted at the Building Department window and via mail.

The Building Department will be attending a training conference from noon on Wednesday May 8th through Friday May 10th, returning to the office Monday May 13th at 9 am. Emails and phone calls received after 12 pm on Wednesday May 8th will be responded to upon our return to the office.

BUILDING PERMIT & CODE ADMINISTRATION DIVISION

This division is led by the Construction Official, Kevin Guilfoyle, who also serves as the Building Sub-code Official.
